Being argumentative should be arguing and standing by what you believe in. The toxic side is arguing every point for the sake of it, which then becomes a pit of closed-minded stubbornness.
Confrontational should mean that you stand up for yourself and not turn belly up when things don’t go your way, not running around picking a fight.
And aggressiveness should relate to healthy competition and resilience, not ripping people apart for countless unfounded reasons.
The thing that makes these traits toxic to you, to your family, friends, and colleagues is immaturity, lack of emotional intelligence and those 5 minutes that you don’t pause before reacting to something.
