Thank you so much for reading! I’m glad it helped and I definitely understand what you mean regarding the pain of a foreseeable negative outcome. I’m the same.
However, I do take comfort in the fact that for me to see that negative outcome, I would have had to analyse for a really long period of time. Therefore forgoing valuable time spent experiencing both pain and pleasure and actually learning.
I think this is more productive than the 2 months spent analysing. And I know you know this too! And I totally understand that even though you know, it’s still hard to do.
Even though the pain of experiencing a none foreseeable outcome is worse than the failure, I hope you can bite the bullet and say “Screw it, I’ll experience that pain if it means I can get closer to my goal and live a full life.”
